About the Artist

For thirty-five years, Glen Eisner has been working in film and television. He is noted for realistic sculpture used in the construction of three-dimensional make-ups.
Glen is especially proud of his first professional job with prosthetics. In 1987, through the office of Plastic Surgeon Joseph R. Burlin in Stockton, CA, Glen crafted a prosthetic ear device for an elderly woman.
Since 2001, Glen is a senior lecturer in the digital media department at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. Otis College professor of figure drawing Gary Geraths and digital media department chair Harry Mott masterminded "Sculpture for 3D Artists,” a class created for Glen to teach traditional sculpture skills to digital students so that a truer sense of three-dimension characters may be conveyed in virtual 3D. His students build their own armatures with aluminum wire and model characters in oil-based clay.
"I am blessed with a family who believes in creativity. My parents supported my desire to pursue art and being trained by make-up artist Dick Smith.” Glen received a certificate of make-up effects artistry in 1988 from Dick Smith’s Advanced Professional Make-Up Course.
Glen met his artistically and musically gifted wife Holly when he was working in the High Sierras during the summers of the 1980’s as an arts and crafts director for Stockton Silver Lake Resort.
Glen was trained in drawing and painting methods by mentors Tom Olson (his first scoutmaster in Boy Scouts of America), and Janet Church (whom is Holly's mother).
Glen is a member of the California Art Club.
Some of Glen’s film and television credits are Gremlins 2: the New Batch, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, The Nutty Professor, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, The Mask of Zorro, The Passion of the Christ, 300, The Cabin in the Woods, The Monkey King, American Horror Story.
